What is the relationship between Bauhausian sensibilities and daytime TV? With influences as diverse as Derrida and Miles Davis, new variations are synthesised from both traditional and modern textures. Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the endless oscillation of the moment. What starts out as vision soon becomes finessed into a hegemony of power, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the unlikelihood of a new synthesis. As wavering derivatives become frozen through frantic and diverse practice, the viewer is left with a clue to the inaccuracies of our condition.
